Langhorne Council for the Arts invites YOU
to become involved in the arts in our community!

Langhorne Council for the Arts (LCA) is dedicated to providing creative outlets and fostering appreciation for the arts in the Langhorne community.   For more than 20 years, LCA has been actively bringing the arts to the community through a wide variety of events, including the Arts in the Garden Tour, Arts & Jazz Brunch, Community Art Projects, World Music concerts, and much more!

June 16 -  Chocolate, Sex, and Scandal: The history of an innocent bean in marriage, love, murder, and sedition.  Presented by Elin Danien, Ph.D.

June 30 -  Birds, Butterflies, Bees, and Blooms: entice beneficial wildlife to your garden. Presented by PA Master Naturalist Mary Anne Borge.

July 14 -  To Soothe the Savage Breast:  the healing power of the harp. Presented by Edie Elkan and Mary Bryson of Bedside Harp.

July 28 -  The Centralia Mine Fire: Life and Death of a Pennsylvania Town.  Images and interviews of a once thriving community now deserted and in ruins.  Presented by Stephen Perloff.

August 11 -  Evaluating, Appraising, and Establishing Values of Antiques.  Learn what appraisers look for in silver, china, furniture and more, and how to establish replacement value. Presented by appraiser Dan Worden

FREE CONCERT AT THE FARM!
The Patrick Coman Trio performs "Reds & Blues,"
original blues/rock/soul music in homage to Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, Jerry Lee Lewis, The Band, Leon Russell, and other legends.  Great musical entertainment for all ages.  Bring blankets, lawn chairs - maybe even a picnic dinner - for this concert at Langhorne Heritage Farm, 222 N. Green Street in Langhorne Borough.

Last Saturday of every month
Monthly Jazz Service at  St. Luke's Episcopal Church
100 E Washington Ave, Newtown, PA.   
Traditional hymns are arranged and performed in an improvisational jazz setting. Musical prelude begins at 4:45 pm, service begins at 5:00. Music is provided by Cabin Jazz All-Stars. Please join us - all are welcome.
