Make a Date with the Arts
Monday, January 19 7:00 PM
The Peace Center / Richardson House
Corner of Bellevue and Maple Avenues
You are invited to a screening of the documentary "Mighty Times: The Children's March" followed by dessert and discussion. The Academy Award Winning documentary "The Children's March" tells the story of how the young people of Birmingham, Alabama, braved fire hoses and police dogs in 1963 and brought segregation to its knees. Their heroism complements discussions about the ability of today's young people to be catalysts for positive social change.
Donations of desserts welcome. Co-sponsored by Langhorne Council for the Arts and The Peace Center.
